Green Tashlich at Scioto Park

Sep 11 2010 - 5:30pm
Sep 11 2010 - 8:30pm

“Tashlich” means “casting off” in Hebrew. It is a ritual that the Little Minyan has observed during the High Holidays for the past four years. We gather at the Scioto River and symbolically cast off the sins of the previous year by tossing rose petals or pebbles into the flowing water. Join us to observe this traditional ritual in a contemporary way on Saturday, September 11 at 4 pm at Scioto Park, 7377 Riverside Drive in Dublin. Our tashlich ceremony will be followed by a dairy potluck and Havdalah beginning at 5:30 pm.
