Tikkun Olam is a core Jewish belief that it is ourresponsibility to heal the world. The words Tikkun Olam are generally translated as “repairing the world” and this offers motivation to the Little Minyan social action team to raise consciousness and hands to help our community – both close to home and around the globe. How are we are making a difference?
- creating meals for families at the Ronald McDonald House of Nationwide Children’s Hospital
- delivering meals on wheels for home-bound seniors volunteering at the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resouces Center food pantry
- providing Christmas meals for staff of Wexner Heritage Village
- hosting Genocide Intervention Network executive director, Mark Hanis, to educate the community on the situation in Darfur and how we can stop genocide
